About Digital Norway
Digital Norway is a non-profit organisation established in 2017 by a group of the largest companies in Norway, with public support.
Our goal is to increase the knowledge and use of digital technology amongst Norwegian companies, with a special emphasis on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
We do this by providing courses and training, meeting places, and by taking part in the national debate speaking on behalf of SMEs and their needs.
We also fuel large collaborative projects in data sharing that further accelerate the digitalisation of the Norwegian business community.
Digital Norway takes part in several international cooperations, the largest being the European Digital Hub (EDIH) Nemonoor, a seven-year EU project established to speed up the use of artificial intelligence amongst small and medium enterprises.

Our international cooperations
In 2019 Digital Norway was declared one of five fully operational Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) in Norway by the European Commission. Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) are one-stop-shops that help companies to become more competitive with regards to their business or production processes, products or services using digital technologies. The main target group is small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
In 2022 Digital Norway, along with a consortium of partners established Nemonoor, a national hub that was given the role of a European Digital Innovation hub (EDIH) under the programme Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL). The European Commission defines a European Digital Innovation Hub as a single organisation or a coordinated group of organisations with complementary expertise, with a not-for-profit objective, that support companies – especially SMEs and mid-caps – and/or the public sector in their digital transformation.
In addition, Digital Norway has also been involved in three different EU projects; DIGI-B-CUBE, Trinity, and InnoCape.
Our far-reaching network provides great opportunities for SMEs, and allows us stay on top of the latest trends and developments within digital innovation.

A large part of our operation is to raise awareness through relevant news, events and opportunities, support directly or indirectly with piloting, testing and experimenting with digital innovations, in addition to provide business and financing support to implement innovations.
If you are a Norwegian SME working within a relevant field for the projects below, we urge you to get in touch.
